Had trouble with my previous mate who was high on meat ..that he would not even smell food without meat :P So we have got her used to not eating meat.Though i feel guilty sometimes coz i just cant stay away from seafood coz i am from the coast. We picked them from a construction site. There were 7 of them. We’re able to get 5 of them adopted. Since these 2 were in really bad shape with their skin in different state of deterioration, they didnt find a home. We kept them as they recuperated and later we couldn’t part with them. As I always say, they adopted us :-)

We’re planning to raise our dogs on strict Vegan diet as well. They are siblings. So far, July is largely Vegan (though there is no such word :-) ) but we’re struggling with Dobby, her brother. We ourselves are vegans and spread veganism through our blog http://www.veganindia.com

Thats a cute name for you girl.. Glad u liked the post.. to answer your questions :

1) You can get the E-Collar at any pet store.. will cost u anywhere between 175-600 bucks depending on the quality. You would need to take July to the store so that they can check the necks circumference.
2) Post operation, Bugsy was a lil lazy but then she was soon back to her usual antics.. But i must say that we did find her more obedient after the surgery. Also previously she’d bite off stuff.. it has reduced drastically.

I would recommend keeping the house very clean and make sure she avoids excessive jumping around within the first week of the surgery. Keep a medical kit of gauze cloth, surgical tape, cotton, dettol, betadine solution and soframycin ointment handy.

My Lil girl is going to be operated on next Saturday. I can step into the OT a little more confidentaly now.

I would be happy if you could answer my queries.

1) Where can I get an E-collar. I stay at HSR.
2) Seems it has been 3 months since Bugsy’s operation. Did you find any remarkable difference in her behaviour.

My Girl name is July and you can very well guess she’s was born in July. She is very aggressive for a 6-month old. Thanks for your help and have a good day.
