Nagarhole & Ranganathittu

One of the last trips we did before we moved out of Bangalore was a trip to Nagarhole National Park which is around 250KM from the city. Quite a wonderful experience 🙂 . You can get all the information bout the park here. We stayed at the Kings Sanctuary resort which was just outside the park. You can read my tripadvisor review here. The park restricts vehicular movement between 18:00-06:00 each day. There is no entry fee to the park however one needs to register at the check post. The jungle safari however has a nominal fee. The safari is conducted twice a day.. Mornings from 6-9 and evenings from 3-5pm. Would recommend that you reach early atleast an hour before start to reserve seats. On our way back we visited Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary.  The sanctuary is a short detour on the Bangalore Mysore highway right after Srirangapattana town. One can cover the entire distance in bout 3 hours. Definitely recommend taking the boat ride. You can find more information bout the park here. Some of the pics that i clicked during the trip 🙂 .

Kuala Lumpur & Around – Bird Park

One of the many must do activities in KL is definitely not to miss a visit to the worlds largest free flight walk in aviary, The KL Bird Park.  It definitely gaurantees a fun time for kids if its a first time experience for them. Its good to walk around the park with plenty of peacocks and other birds walking about freely inches away from you. While we had previously visited the bird park at Bali, we were slightly disappointed with the ones in KL.. the place definitely needs to be maintained well. You can get more info bout the park here.
