One of the many must do activities in KL is definitely not to miss a visit to the worlds largest free flight walk in aviary, The KL Bird Park.  It definitely gaurantees a fun time for kids if its a first time experience for them. Its good to walk around the park with plenty of peacocks and other birds walking about freely inches away from you. While we had previously visited the bird park at Bali, we were slightly disappointed with the ones in KL.. the place definitely needs to be maintained well. You can get more info bout the park here.
