Flutter By’s

Did this weekend trip to Bannerghatta Buttery Fly Park which is housed in the National Park vicinity.  Supposedly the first park of its kind in India. The place is kinda well maintained but could be better. The entrance fee of 25 bucks wont disappoint you.  The park is at a distance of roughly 25km from Bangalore. May take less than an hour by road considering the traffic situation. This was my second visit to the park.  Its a different feel all together having hundreds of butterflies fluttering by. Sometimes you tread cautiously only to not distract them or step on them accidentally 🙂 . The park is still in its initial days and does not have a huge variety of butterflies. Most of them are the Indian variants. The park also has a breeding section where you can view the butterflies at every stage of their growth.  Well this section is actually a no-visitors area but if you are okay to shell out a few extra bucks to the guard, he may just sneak you in for a few minutes. What can i say, we are famous for the Great Indian Jugaad 😉 . Here are a few pics from the park.

Commitment vs Interest

Managed a quick read..

There’s a difference between Interest and Commitment. When you are interested in doing something, You do it only when convenient. When you are committed to something, you accept no excuses;   Only Results – Ken Blanchard

Shambles and Shackles

In the words of Bob Marley – “Though the road’s been rocky it sure feels good to me.”

Often it seems that life begins to bow you down and you think is there any worth to the amount of effort you put into living it. Tired of fighting it out and finally coming to terms accepting the worse and moving on. Waiting to grab the silver lining.. So near, yet so far away.

Its always a tiring and tedious journey.. coming across hundreds of new faces all trying to get a glimpse into your life.. asking you questions bout the past.. Its funny how folks look at you and percieve your whole life without even knowing the thorny path you’ve been through. But then you question.. Whats Life without living it in Shambles and Shackles ? Would it be good if it were all pleasant and rosy without any risks and challenges it throws at you ? Would you be living it up otherwise .. !! I doubt i can hardly meet any person who can tell me their life has been perfect.

I have done mistakes and learnt a lot from them. Some have made me the person i am today. Was it for the better and are there any regrets ? Definitely not. Had it been not for those, i wouldnt have met the beautiful folks in my life today. I wouldn’t have got the drive to thrive towards excellence. Had i not seen failure in the eye, i wouldnt have had the will to stand up for myself.

I learnt its the moment you have today that matters. Make the most of it. These are the moments that makes this journey called LIFE worthwhile.

“The beautiful journey of today can only begin when we learn to let go of yesterday.”  – Steve Maraboli, Life, the Truth, and Being Free.
